Info for vendors

The first round of fliers went out this weekend at the Carbondale Farmer's Market in Murdale! It was exciting to receive such support from future patrons and vendors! As interest grows, here are some steps to follow and some specific information if you'd like to be a vendor:
  • Consider your product. The Winter Farmer's Market is gathering growers of fresh produce and locally raised meats first. Then we hope to round out the market with food related products (such as prepared or preserved foods, craft items, kitchen ware, jewelry, etc.)
  • Send us a message expressing your interest! Use the new gmail account: carbondalewintermarket@gmail.com , or send us a message on facebook: facebook.com/carbondalewintermarket. Please include your name, the name of your business, what it is specifically that you hope to sell (kale? beets? carrots? squashes? ceramic mugs? wooden spoons? glass necklace charms?) and the best ways to be in contact including phone #'s, email addresses and website info.
  • Space is limited as we are indoors and smaller than the larger summer Murdale market. We will try to get everyone who shows an interest a spot, however this may mean that you must stagger weeks. The market managers will do their best to organize the market in the space and time allowed. We are interested in working with folks who are flexible and who are willing to work with us to create a successful inaugural year for the Winter Farmer's Market!
  • All spots are a standard 10x10 unless otherwise noted. If you require less space please let us know! We hope to fit in as many vendors as possible!
  • No tents necessary! We're not making anyone sit outside in February, so there's no need to set up your tent.
  • As far as we know, you will be responsible for supplying your own tables/stands/buckets/shelves and any other equipment you need for your 10x10 spot.
  • All vendors are asked to clean up their spot after use. We are very thankful to Linda Flowers and the Thomas School for being so generous with their space! Please help the Winter Farmer's Market take care of it!
We're so excited to jump into market time! We're looking forward to hearing from you!
