The Last Winter Market of the Season! Line Up for March 23rd, 2013

Is this really the last line up post for the Winter Farmers Market's inaugural year?! We've had so much fun (and so little sleep!) seeing everyone each Saturday morning at Thomas School! But don't let me get too gushy, there's still one market left! And what a great one!

Even though the weather forgot that Spring is here your Growers at the Winter Farmers Market have not! Tim Francis of Union Springs Farm and Crystal and Brice Cooley of Cooley's Farm will have heirloom starts and bedding plants! You'll find many varieties of tomatoes, kales, cabbages, brussel sprouts, broccoli, and more! These folks have been at it for years and the quality of their plants is clear! (I grew two varieties of Tim's heirloom tomatoes last year, so feel free to ask me how much tomato sauce I STILL have made from the bounty! ha!)

Bring the kids along for fun activities from Dayemi Parent & Child Collective! Our Market music makers will be in Chicago this weekend, and though we will miss them we are excited to welcome members of the Tomcat Hill Social Club! Their tunes are quite similar (if you're not already familiar) and they're sure to make you tap a toe or two around the market!

Finally, If you have any stray Market Bucks that you've missed the date on bring 'em! Vendors will be taking the outdated Bucks on this last Market day!

Ok one more thing, we'll also be passing out official invitations to our End of the Winter Market Season Gathering! More info on this to come, but you can find out first at the Market this weekend!
